02 / DISPLAY & FORM

Physical pigment,
not emitted light.

The manufacturer specifies a 3.68-inch E6 six-color panel. It has 528 × 792 pixels and works out to about 258.7 PPI across its active area.

Six physical e-paper colors reproduce photographs with a distinct printed character. The reflective panel uses ambient light and keeps the frame after the update ends.

The white body feels like a small instant print, not a miniature tablet. Pick it up, place it or carry it with you. A 3 mm profile, 28 g weight and no exposed connector are Kickstarter targets.

10 / FAQ

Before you ask.

01Does the screen stay on all the time?

No backlight is needed. E-paper keeps the image after each refresh. Bluetooth then returns to standby.

02What is the confirmed display specification?

The manufacturer specifies a 3.68-inch E6 six-color panel at 528 × 792 pixels. Its 51.84 × 77.76 mm active area works out to about 258.7 PPI. The website preview only simulates the look.

03Do my photos need to be uploaded?

No. Cropping and six-color conversion happen on iPhone or iPad. Bluetooth sends only the finished frame, and core features do not need a Peanup cloud account.

04Can it update automatically?

Apple Shortcuts can prepare automated updates. Actual timing still depends on iOS and the rules of each content service.

05Is there an Android app?

A native Android app is not planned for the first release. Android devices can send images through the WeChat Mini Program.

06Is the magnetic ring MagSafe certified?

Peanup does not claim that certification. Its magnetic ring works with compatible MagSafe accessories.

07Can CUID NFC replace my access card?

Only where the access system supports CUID. Enrollment needs the operator’s approval and must follow local rules.

08Does a refresh happen instantly like a phone screen?

No. E-paper is not a video display. A visible refresh takes place before the new frame is held. Final refresh timing and visual behavior will be published after production-hardware validation.

09What if my phone cannot find Peanup?

Check that Peanup has power, Bluetooth is enabled and the device is close to your phone. If another phone is connected, disconnect it before scanning again in the app.

10Are the final dimensions guaranteed?

The 3.68-inch E6 panel and 528 × 792 pixel matrix come from the manufacturer specification. The 3 mm profile, 28 g weight and one-month-plus battery life are Kickstarter targets. Battery life depends on refresh frequency.
